With the updated website we have moved our For Sale/Items Wanted listing to Facebook. Anyone wanting to post items please send a description, picture (if available) and contact information to the NDFA office and we will post them for you. NDFA will post these items for 30 days. If you would like to have us keep them up for longer please let us know. Also once items are sold please contact NDFA and we will remove the posting.
On March 31, 2010 at 7:05 PM, the Dickinson City Fire Department responded to a call of a garage/vehicle fire. The resident owner had changed a fuel pump on his 1993 Buick Roadster and tried to start the vehicle when the fire occurred in the motor compartment area. The owner was able to push the vehicle out of the garage to the end of the driveway about 30 feet from the garage.

The Page Fire Department will be hosting a one day Grain Bin Extrication class on 31 July, 2010 starting at 10:00 am. The class is presented by GSI, the worlds largest largest manufacturer of steel farm bins, commercial grain storage bins, and grain silos. As part of their safety program they have contracted with the Detroit Fire Department to provide instructors to conduct this classes nationwide. Bill Hart, a 23 year veteran of the Detroit Fire Department, will be facilitating this one day class.
