This training is for any first responder including law enforcement, paramedics, or fire fighters. Topics will include wandering, driving, abuse and nelglect and firearms and how to approach these subjects with someone with dementia.
NDFA is now taking registrations for the 2010 Instructor’s Conference. This conference will be held Oct 29-31, 2010 at the Doublewood Inn in Bismarck, North Dakota. Registration is $25.00 per registrant which includes conference attendance, Friday evening social, and Saturday evening banquet. Guests of registrants are welcome to attend social and banquet for $16.00 per guest.
This conference is open to all members of NDFA who are currently Instructors, those who wish to become Instructors, and/or anyone who wishes to improve their ability to instruct within their own department.
The Doublewood Inn has blocked out a number of rooms for this weekend at the state rate of $63.00 single occupancy or $83.00 double. Register early to reserve your room(s).
